Europe: Stock markets steady at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets steadied at the open on Tuesday after recent volatile trading.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.1 per cent to 7,186.69 points compared with the close on Monday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 was flat at 12,282.76 points and the Paris CAC 40 slipped 0.1 per cent to 5,136.09.
