Europe: Stocks climb at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose at the open on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gaining 0.4 per cent to 7,496.90 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index won 0.2 per cent to 12,664.97 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.2 per cent to 5,335.12 compared with the close on Friday.
