Europe: Stocks close higher

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets shrugged off on Monday the election of an anti-austerity party in Greece to close higher, with London's FTSE 100 rising 0.29 per cent to end the day at 6,852.40 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index jumped 1.40 per cent to a new record close of 10,798.33 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 climbed 0.74 per cent to 4,675.13 points.
