Europe: Stocks close mixed

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.60 per cent to end the day at 6,898.13 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 index closed down 0.25 per cent at 10,895.62 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 was stable, gaining a slight 0.04 per cent to 4,753.99 points.
