Europe: Stocks close mostly up

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets closed mostly up on Wednesday with London's FTSE 100 rising 0.21 per cent to end the day at 6,825.94 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index rose 0.78 per cent to 10,710.97 points, but in Paris the CAC 40 shed 0.29 per cent to 4,610.94 points.
