Europe: Stocks drop at open

[LONDON] Europe's stock markets fell in opening deals on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down almost 0.3 per cent to 7,406.47 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 also dipped 0.4 per cent to 12,050.81 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.4 per cent to 5,008.08 compared with Friday's close.
