Europe: Stocks edge lower at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets nudged lower at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index marginally down at 7,182.77 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index slid 0.2 per cent to 11,593.23 points and the Paris CAC 40 also dipped 0.2 per cent to 5,288.40, compared with Tuesday's closing levels.
