Europe: Stocks log opening gains
[LONDON] European stocks pushed tentatively higher in opening deals on Monday, after an edgy session earlier in Asia, as investors mulled the US interest rate outlook.
In initial trade, London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gained 0.4 per cent to 7,049.15 points compared with Friday's closing level.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0.3 per cent to 10,743.87 and in Paris the CAC 40 also increased 0.3 per cent to stand at 4,551.73 points.
