Europe: Stocks recede at open

[LONDON] European stock markets deflated at the start of trade on Thursday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index losing 0.3 per cent to stand at 7,363.08 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 recoiled 0.2 per cent to 4,953.30 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 slid 0.5 per cent to 11,998.06 compared with Thursday's closing level.
