Europe: Stocks rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose slightly at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.2 per cent to 6,841.48 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.1 per cent to 10,700.17 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained also 0.1 per cent to open at 4,548.85 compared with the close on Thursday.
