Europe: Stocks rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.30 per cent to 7,036.29 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.50 per cent to 12,226.98 points and the CAC 40 in Paris climbed 0.29 per cent to stand at 5,224.22 compared with Thursday's close.
