Europe: Stocks rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.34 per cent at 7,086.78 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 index won 0.38 per cent to 11,984.39 points and the CAC 40 in Paris gained 0.35 per cent to 5,210.70 compared with Tuesday's close.
