Europe: Stocks rise at open; London dips

[LONDON] The German and French stock markets rose at the open on Wednesday while London dipped, as investors awaited the Federal Reserve's latest decision on US interest rates.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index won 0.3 per cent to 12,798.26 points compared with the close on Tuesday.
The Paris CAC 40 gained 0.4 per cent to 5,283.60 points and London's FTSE 100 dipped 0.1 per cent to 7,494.34.
