European stocks slip at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets retreated at the open of trading on Tuesday as caution prevailed ahead of a key monetary policy meeting by the ECB later this week.
London's bluechip FTSE 100 index dropped 0.4 per cent, while both the DAX 30 in Frankfurt and CAC 40 in Paris shed 0.2 per cent.
