Geo Energy says no known explanation for shares' sharp drop

GEO Energy Resources was not aware of any undisclosed reasons that could explain a 15.3 per cent drop in its share price on Monday, the coal mining company announced after the market closed.

The company received a trading query from Singapore Exchange during the day as its stock was on the way to slide 2.9 Singapore cents lower for a close of 16 Singapore cents on Monday. A total of 8.45 million of its shares changed hands.
