Hong Kong closes up, Shanghai down

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged higher Friday while Shanghai lost momentum as traders await US jobs data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.12 per cent, or 31.67 points, to close at 27,562.68.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.33 per cent, or 45.69 points, to 3,262.08, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.57 per cent, or 10.72 points.
