Hong Kong, Shanghai chase Wall St rally at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rallied for a second straight session Tuesday following a strong lead from Wall Street, while energy firms were lifted by further gains in oil prices.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 0.52 per cent, or 103.29 points, to 19,987.24.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.09 per cent, or 2.68 points, to 2,853.54, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.06 per cent, or 1.16 points, to 1,816.19.
