Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks flat at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks opened flat Thursday morning following a tepid lead from Wall Street and ahead of the release of US jobs data at the end of the week.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 12.91 points to 20,773.89.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was down 2.29 points at 2,911.22 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.13 per cent, or 2.51 points, to 1,884.00.
