Hong Kong: Shares end higher, bucking Asia trend

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks bucked a broad Asia-wide sell-off Wednesday to end in positive territory for a third-straight day, with energy firms boosted by a rebound in oil prices.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.64 per cent, or 166.00 points, to 26,043.64.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.17 per cent, or 5.49 points, to 3,197.54 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.11 per cent, or 2.15 points, to 1,889.45.
