Hong Kong: Shares retreat with energy firms
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks retreated on Thursday as energy firms were hit by a plunge in oil prices while concerns over the North Korea missile crisis were also keeping traders in check.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.22 per cent, or 56.75 points, to 25,465.22.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.17 per cent, or 5.31 points, to 3,212.44 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged up 0.08 per cent, or 1.45 points, to 1,914.59.
