Hong Kong: Stock up 0.63% at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares rose 0.63 per cent at the start of the session on Friday following a rally on Wall Street as expectations for an early US rate hike diminish.
The Hang Seng Index added 173.03 points, to 27,459.58.
But in mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.52 per cent, or 22.82 points, to 4,355.49.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.81 per cent, or 19.94 points, to 2,434.26.
