Hong Kong: Stocks add to rally in early trade
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose again on Friday soon after opening, having already posted seven straight gains, although profit-taking tempered the rally, while Shanghai also ticked slightly higher.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 0.17 per cent, or 36.08 points, to 21,373.89.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.09 per cent, or 2.67 points, to 3,085.03, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.02 per cent, or 0.42 points, to 1,982.87.
