Hong Kong: Stocks close higher after Wall Street

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks closed with strong gains Tuesday, tracking a rally on Wall Street where all three US indices hit new records following strong economic data.
The Hang Seng Index rose 2.25 per cent, or 618.91 points, to end at 28,173.21.
Financial markets in mainland China were closed on Tuesday for a public holiday.
