Hong Kong: Stocks close with more losses
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares ended lower Monday, extending last week's losses on concerns about the spread of coronavirus, which has forced the city to ramp up containment measures including a ban on more than two people gathering in public.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.41 per cent, or 102.07 points, to 24,603.26.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.26 per cent, or 8.46 points, to 3,205.23, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange edged up 0.28 per cent, or 6.01 points to 2,144.37.
