Hong Kong: Stocks dip at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged slightly lower at the start of trade on Thursday following losses on Wall Street, with analysts saying the passage of US tax cuts had already been priced into valuations.
The Hang Seng Index eased 0.08 per cent, or 24.45 points, to 29,209.64.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.20 per cent, or 6.49 points, to 3,281.12 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.13 per cent, or 2.43 points, to 1,889.09.
