Hong Kong: Stocks down at open on Thursday

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks retreated in the first few minutes of trade on Thursday as a surge in US Treasury yields fanned expectations of further rises in Federal Reserve interest rates.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.23 per cent, or 61.86 points, to 27,029.40.
Mainland Chinese markets remained closed for a public holiday.
