Hong Kong: Stocks extend losses on Trump fears

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks tumbled again Monday, hit by worries over Donald Trump's presidency and expectations for a sharp rise in US interest rates.

The Hang Seng Index fell 1.37 per cent, or 308.87 points, to end at 22,222.22.

But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.45 per cent, or 14.33 points, to 3,210.37 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.30 per cent, or 6.27 points, to 2,114.30 on turnover of 421.0 billion yuan.
