Hong Kong: Stocks higher at open on Monday

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks started Monday with gains as bargain-buyers moved in following last week's sharp losses.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.52 per cent, or 128.76 points, to 24,846.39.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.20 per cent, or 5.26 points, to 2,593.59, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.60 per cent, or 7.70 points, to 1,282.92.
