Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.33% higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged up 0.33 per cent at the open on Friday, extending the previous day's gains on hopes China will step up measures to stabilise mainland equities markets.
The city's benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 83.86 points to 25,246.64.
