Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.38% higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong equities rose 0.38 per cent in the first few minutes of trade Wednesday, tracking gains across global markets following a hefty sell-off at the start of the week.
The city's benchmark Hang Seng Index added 93.72 points to 24,597.66.
