[HONG KONG] Hong Kong equities rose 0.72 per cent at the open on Friday, adding to the previous day's surge on hopes China will contain a month-long rout in mainland markets and after Greece submitted debt reform plans that could keep it in the eurozone.
The Hang Seng Index advanced 175.13 points to 24,567.92.
