Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.73% higher
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose 0.73 per cent in the first few minutes of trade on Friday following another record close on Wall Street while investors were also tracking a rally in Shanghai.
The Hang Seng Index added 199.95 points to 27,723.67.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 1.23 per cent, or 55.56 points, to 4,584.98.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 1.58 per cent, or 42.92 points, to 2,756.34.
