Hong Kong: Stocks open 1.16% lower as protests drag on

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares opened 1.16 per cent lower Friday - after a two-day public holiday - with pro-democracy protests that have closed down parts of the city showing no sign of ending.

The Hang Seng Index fell 265.83 points to 22,667.15 in the first few minutes. - AFP
