Published Fri, Oct 5, 2018 · 01:47 AM

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks kicked off Friday with further losses, having already fallen more than four per cent this week, with traders growing increasingly worried about an extended period of US interest rate hikes.

The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.45 per cent, or 120.12 points, to 26,503.75.

Mainland Chinese markets remained closed for a public holiday.
