Hong Kong: Stocks open lower on Wednesday
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares slipped at the open on Wednesday, in line with a sell-off across Asia as investors grew worried about Donald Trump's ability to push through his economic agenda following accusations he tried to quash an FBI probe.
The Hang Seng Index dropped 0.11 per cent, or 26.89 points, to 25,309.05.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.17 per cent, or 5.16 points, to 3,107.80, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.07 per cent, or 1.29 points, to 1,863.98.
