Hong Kong: Stocks open slightly higher
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened slightly higher on Tuesday morning, extending the previous day's gains ahead of the release of Chinese economic data.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.42 per cent, or 121.34 points, at 29,303.52.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was slightly lower, inching down 1.29 points to 3,446.55, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was also marginally down, dipping 0.86 points to 2,044.32.
