Hong Kong: Stocks open up 0.52%
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares opened 0.52 per cent higher Thursday as investors look ahead to the release of key US jobs data at the end of the week.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 131.58 points to 25,214.33.
In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.46 per cent, or 17.40 points, to 3,827.69.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.64 per cent, or 12.83 points, to 2,018.50.
