Hong Kong: Stocks open with gains on Friday

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares rose soon after the open on Friday morning following a healthy lead from Wall Street with traders upbeat after the Federal Reserve's positive outlook for the US economy.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.59 per cent, or 163.39 points, to 27,879.06 in early trade.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.09 per cent, or 2.49 points, to 2,794.26 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.12 per cent, or 1.75 points, to 1,431.36.
