Hong Kong: Stocks rally at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks climbed more than one per cent at the open Monday on rising hopes that China and the US will reach a deal to end their trade war.
The Hang Seng Index jumped 1.35 per cent, or 377.03 points, to 28,277.87.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.65 per cent, or 17.43 points, to 2,699.82 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stock on China's second exchange, gained 0.69 per cent, or 9.65 point, to 1,399.12.
