Hong Kong: Stocks retreat after previous day's rally

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares turned lower on Wednesday following the previous day's strong gains, with upbeat Chinese trade data unable to offset profit-taking.
The Hang Seng Index eased 0.30 per cent, or 86.74 points, to close at 28,907.60.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index inched up 0.06 per cent, or 1.89 points, to 3,415.46. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.05 per cent, or 0.99 points, to 2,013.71.
