Hong Kong: Stocks retreat at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares dipped soon after the open on Wednesday after the previous day's healthy gains, while the Postal Savings Bank of China launched in the city after a US$7.4 billion flotation, the biggest this year.
The Hang Seng Index eased 0.30 per cent or 70.71 points, to 23,501.19.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, edging up 2.53 points, to 3,000.70 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was also barely moved, inching up 0.92 points to 1,982.18.
