Hong Kong: Stocks rise at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks on Tuesday extended the previous day's gains but trade was muted after losses across US and European markets.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.14 per cent, or 33.42 points, to end at 23,629.70.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was marginally lower, dipping 0.78 points to 3,233.09 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was slightly higher, edging up 0.64 points to 2,026.18.
