Hong Kong: Stocks rise at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose in early trade on Friday to follow Wall Street higher after a week of gains, but markets in mainland China edged down.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.17 per cent, or 43.09 points, to 25,673.87.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.21 per cent, or 6.54 points, to 3,101.29, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.08 per cent, or 1.36 points, to 1,810.54.
