Hong Kong: Stocks suffer fresh losses at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks extended losses in the first few minutes of trade on Tuesday, tracking losses across Asia as the US and North Korea ratchet up their war of words over Pyongyang's nuclear programme.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.11 per cent, or 31.31 points, to 27,469.03.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.16 per cent, or 5.20 points, to 3,336.35 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.13 per cent, or 2.47 points, to 1,961.43.
