Hong Kong: Stocks up at open

[HONG KONG] Shares opened higher Wednesday morning in Hong Kong, pushing a rally into their third day as energy firms rode on the back of a rebound in oil prices.

The Hang Seng Index rose 0.44 per cent, or 113.71 points to 25,991.35 at the open.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, inching down 1.11 points to 3,201.93, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.06 per cent, or 1.14 points, to 1,890.46.
