Hot stock: Jardine C&C down 2.9% after 'trade with caution' warning

CAR distributor Jardine Cycle and Carriage (Jardine C&C) was down S$1.03 or 2.9 per cent to S$34.85, as of 10.03am on Friday, after a Singapore Exchange (SGX) cautionary note on the trading of its shares.

The counter had jumped S$2.08 or 6.2 per cent to S$35.88 on Thursday, on volume of 944,000 shares, drawing an SGX query.

Jardine C&C replied it was not aware of any reasons which could explain the trading of its shares.

SGX said on Friday in response that investors should "trade with caution".
