Hot stock: Stratech shares up 8.8% in morning trade

SHARES of Stratech Group climbed 8.8 per cent or 0.3 cent to S$0.037 as at 11.28am on Thursday.

Some 24.8 million shares changed hands, making it the third-most active stock on Singapore Exchange (SGX).

It is also the fourth straight day the stock is one of the most active.

On Monday, the group said it was not aware of any undisclosed information that could explain a surge in its share price the same day.

The reply came after SGX sought clarification from the IT and technology-solutions provider in a trading query regarding its shares.
