Hot stock: SunMoon seeks trading halt after rallying almost 2%

SUNMOON Food Company sought a halt in the trading of its shares on Monday after they rallied almost 2 per cent in active trade.
At 11.10am, the shares were trading around S$0.109, up 0.2 Singapore cent, or 1.87 per cent. Almost 18 million shares changed hands.
Over the weekend, the retailer said it planned to complete its purchase of a 12 per cent stake in fruit retailer Harvest Season Singapore.
