Malaysia: shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.82 point to 1,741.47.
Volume was 2.72 billion shares worth RM1.95 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers by 453 to 434.
