MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 11.20 points to 1,863.47.

Volume was 1.63 billion lots worth RM1.87 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 452 to 338.
